October Monthly Meeting – October 7, 2019

We had another fantastic turn out for our monthly meeting at the Irondequoit Public Library for our monthly Rochester LEGO User Group Meeting. We had 32 members and a couple new folks!

As always, we welcome new teen and Adult Fan of LEGO (AFOL) to all our meetings.

Many of our members brought some inspiring creations to display.

This months month long build challenge was to add new modules to our medieval village set up. Our member did not disappoint! Each member had their favorites from a classic yellow MOC to one with a dragon! The selected winners were allowed to pick the LEGO prize of their choice.

Our monthly club build challenge was another successful hit. Our creative master brought a large selection of bricks and challenged our 10 minute build-off to use the ice cream cone and ice cream scoop. Our members designed and built some super interesting displays which were judged and LEGO prizes awarded!

We also had an amazing presentation of a LEGO stop motion video by on of our members. It was absolutely amazingly creative. It followed a boy trying to get his soccer ball back from a bunch of monsters at a party.
